Dr Adam Weigold - Founder and Project Leader
Inventor of Laser Powered EMP technology, Adam Weigold is a laser physicist, inventor, author and serial entrepreneur with over 20 years startup experience in the Australian and US technology industries. Adam has been Founder, CEO and CTO at six technology start-ups including industrial and military laser contractor Photon Engineering, photonics manufacturer Fiberbyte (now Chronologic), telecom service provider Nomad Networks, laser components supplier Southern Cross Lasers, medical laser business Infrared Healthcare and start-up incubator business Critical Mass Investments. He has a strong record for commercializing laser research via organic and equity funding with three successful acquisitons of organically funded start-ups to public companies or private equity. Adam has also worked as Principal Research Scientist for the Australian Defence Science and Technology Organization, Director of Photonics for Silex Systems Ltd. and has acted as the Australian representative for many large US laser manufacturers including JDS Uniphase, Iridex and Northrop Grumman. He has numerous scientific journal and industry publications with published patents in the fields of solid-state lasers, fiber optic networks, computer bus architecture, optical test & measurement and directed energy. Dr Weigold has a PhD in Laser Physics from Macquarie University (1992) and served 6 years as a Director of the Australian Optical Society.

Dr Mark Rogers - Founder
Founder and CEO of Infrared Healthcare, Mark Rogers is a medical doctor, inventor, clinical researcher and entrepreneur currently managing a chain of GP based medical clinics that specialize in the laser based treatment of back pain, migraines and soft-tissue injuries. Mark was previously Founder and CEO of national medical GP chain Rogcom for over 10 years, and then managed over 900 medical clinic staff at Foundation Healthcare (now Sonic Healthcare Ltd). Since 2004 he has been focused on developing laser technologies and services for the treatment of acute and chronic pain, first with the Corporate Health Group and more recently with Infrared Healthcare (trading as YourHealthyGP). He is the inventor of Laser Enhanced Digital Infrared Scanning technology for diagnosing soft-tissue injuries and has a published patent in the field of medical diagnostics.  Mark is a founding member of the Australian Medical Laser Association and a member of the North American Association of Laser Therapy. Dr Rogers has a MBBS from Flinders University (1988) and is a lifetime member of the World Association of Laser Therapy.

Professor Erich Weigold  - Technical Advisory & Editorial Review
One of the worlds most pre-eminent physicists, Erich Weigold has made a massive contribution to the areas of atomic, molecular and condensed matter physics. Erich has been honoured with many awards throughout his career including the Humboldt Prize in Germany and the Lyle Medal in Australia. He has held numerous directorial roles including Chief of Nuclear Physics Division (US Air Force Office of Scientific Research), Director of the Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering (Australian National University), Chairman, Committee for the International Survey on Atomic and Molecular Sciences and Vice-President and Secretary, Australian Academy of Science. Erich is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, the Australian Institute of Physics and the American Physical Society. In 2006 the new Physics Research building at Australian National University was named the Erich Weigold Building in his honor. He has also published two major books in the field of atomic physics, edited three other physics related books and published more than 230 articles for international journals. Professor Weigold has a PhD in Physics from Australian National University (1962) and was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia in 2009.

Dr Yuri Zakharenkov -  External Consultant and Technology Peer Review 
A highly accomplished Laser Plasma physicist, Yuri Zakharenkov has over 30 years of research experience in the fields of high power lasers, fiber optic communications, nonlinear optics, laser propagation and directed energy weapons. Yuri studied laser physics under Russian Nobel Prize winner Nikolay Basov and was awarded the 1986 USSR State Prize in Physics for his contributions to laser produced plasma research. He held senior research positions at Lebedev Physical Institute (USSR) and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (UK). From 1992 to 1998 Yuri warked as a principal research scientist at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories (USA) and then spent 4 years working as Team Leader for several photonic and laser research start-ups in the telecom industry. Since 2002 he has worked as Senior Principal Physicist at Raytheon Inc (USA) where he has worked on numerous laser and directed energy projects winning numerous industry awards for excellence in technology and research. Dr Zakharenkov has 2 issued patents and recieved his PhD in Physics from the Levedev Physical Institute (1977).
